Experience Smarter IoT with Queclink at GITEX

Being one of the largest tech shows worldwide, GITEX set a great platform for the biggest technology showdown. The company’s Middle East team, represented by International Sales Manager Abrar Parkar and Senior Field Application Engineer Taha Bouras, gathering in Dubai, brought the latest offerings to the EMEA market.

The team reconnected with many valued customers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, India and beyond during show days meanwhile linking up with IoT ecosystem partners including Gurtam and GpsGate.

The popular LTE telematics products for GITEX this year included GV58CEU Mini GNSS Tracker, GV350CEU Vehicle Tracker with CANBus Support, GL521MG Standby Tracker with Wireless Charging and GV620MG Rechargeable Ruggedized Trailer Tracker, for which the fleet management Speech given by Abrar was based on. Also, supported BLE sensors and their applications were one of the things customers cared about, which was covered by the FAE engineer Taha.

IoT Project of Year Awards Ceremony

Before the show day started, Queclink attended the live IoT Project of the Year Award Ceremony hosted by Gurtam, the company’s long-term partner. Among those great telematics and IoT projects worldwide, one outstanding IoT farming solution from Ananas Global is empowered by Queclink.

After comparing with many leading tracker manufacturers in Israel, Ananas Global opted for the Queclink GL320MG asset tracker, which tracks low speeds with high accuracy and has a complete set of additional functions that can be customized. The GL320MG supports LTE Cat. M1/NB2 with 2G fallback for worldwide deployment. Tests in Europe and the USA have been successful.

Panel Discussion on Keeping Up with New IoT Trends

During the IoT award ceremony event, the team was invited to join the panel discussion. “The future is Bright and Limitless! Being into sales and always on the ground interacting with several stakeholders, I believe the market or the industry as a whole is becoming more and more organized,” said Abrar Parkar. “Nowadays economies are deploying huge funds toward infrastructural developments. Terming them as ‘Smart Cities’ with the less human touch. You can see more and more governmental projects coming up which is aligned with this vision. Furthermore, many countries have already started the transition from 2G to 4G which is again a boost to the business. Many are talking about 5G which will further fuel the growth of IoT.”

The company will continue making efforts to increase the global sales network and ensure that Queclink customers and prospects in the Middle East are better served.
